The Department of Medicine is under the Faculty of Clinical Sciences in the College of Health Sciences, Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, Ogbomoso, Oyo State. The Department is involved in the clinical training of students in the MBBS programme.

Medicine, sometimes known as internal medicine, is the science that deals with the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of diseases that affect humans. It is a field devoted to the treatment of adults, emphasizing the application of the most up-to-date medical research in the context of intelligent, meaningful doctor-patient relationships.

We provide our undergraduates with the information, skills, and values necessary for a successful medical profession in the twenty-first century. Students are thought in the domains of general medicine and sub-specialities which include, but are not limited to:
